The Bouncer email verifier at usebouncer.com is the one tool in this comparison we did not send-test. We ran the same 1,000 B2B addresses through six other verifiers and mailed every address each one approved. Five stayed under a 1% bounce rate, and those five are the usebouncer alternatives we can put numbers on: WizLeads email verification (852 addresses kept), LeadMagic (822), NeverBounce (711), MillionVerifier (709) and Debounce (670).

Bouncer publishes accuracy claims, 99.5%+ in one place and above 99% in another, and no send data behind either. So this post does two jobs. It sets out what Bouncer costs and bills today, including a 20% off monthly subscription, and it shows what five alternatives did on a list we mailed. None of that proves any of them beats Bouncer on your list. The test at the end is how you find out.

As of October 2026, prices below come from each vendor's own pages unless the text says otherwise.

What Bouncer costs and bills today

Bouncer's pricing page sells verification credits two ways: pay as you go, or a "Monthly Subscription" toggle that takes 20% off every rung for the same number of credits each month.

CreditsPay as you goPer 1,000Monthly subscriptionPer 1,000
1,000$8$8.00$6$6.00

1,000,000$2,000$2.00$1,600$1.60

Source: usebouncer.com/pricing, US render with every volume selected in both toggle states. The page showed the same figures when loaded from Germany. The minimum purchase is 1,000 credits, above 1,000,000 is contact sales, and the per-1,000 columns are our division.

Do Bouncer credits expire?

No. The pricing page says credits bought on demand never expire, and that subscription credits "will also never expire". That puts Bouncer with Debounce, MillionVerifier and Reoon, the other tools in this post whose credits we confirmed never expire.

What does Bouncer charge for?

The same page names two results Bouncer never charges for: duplicate addresses within your list, and unknown results. How it treats risky results, the status where Bouncer files accept-all addresses, is not stated there, so ask support before you size a purchase around it. New accounts get 100 free credits with no card, and the free list sampling tool estimates a list's bounce rate from a random sample without spending any.

Two smaller points. Bouncer's FAQ answers the question about charges for unknown and duplicate emails with a conditional "no, unless you email us first", the same wording it gives to the next question about signing up with a Gmail or Hotmail address. The pricing page states the free rule without a condition, so we follow the pricing page. The second answer is real, though: a private address does not open an account by default, so sign up with a business email. And the FAQ says Bouncer may deactivate an account "due to the quality or origin of your list", which matters if you verify scraped data.

Bouncer review: what it claims, and what it publishes behind it

Accuracy. Bouncer's FAQ says to expect 99.5%+ (the page writes it with a decimal comma), and its Guarantee page says accuracy above 99%. Neither comes with a published method or sample. The Guarantee page's other headline number, that only 2% of emails are ever marked unknown, is a coverage figure, not an accuracy figure.

Catch-alls. Bouncer's email verification page says it uses "proprietary negotiation" with mail servers to resolve catch-alls on Google and Microsoft infrastructure and return a real verdict. Its integration guidelines still file the rest under risky and leave keep-or-drop to you when the list is relatively clean, which fits a claim scoped to two providers. We have no send data on either side. Bouncer shows none, and none of the 11 email-intent pages we read for this post mailed a shared list. Some competing verifiers say Bouncer does not resolve catch-alls: Enrichley says it only marks them risky and Scrubby says it returns them as unknown. Those are their claims, not our results; catch-all handling differs by tool.

The guarantee. The Guarantee page says that if Bouncer marks an address deliverable and it bounces within 72 hours of verification for an objective reason, "you get your money back for those bounced contacts", while the FAQ on the same page says it will "credit or refund" you. Bouncer's Terms, last updated 24 August 2018, say "All purchases are non-refundable". We cannot tell you which governs. Either way, cover is per bounced contact, for hard bounces only, with the clock starting at verification.

How we tested the five alternatives

The list was 1,000 decision-maker emails at US real-estate agencies, exported from Apollo in April 2026. All six tools got the identical CSV on the same day, within a two-hour window. We then sent a plain-text message from a clean Google Workspace account to every address each tool approved, and counted hard bounces and mailbox-does-not-exist responses over 72 hours. The email verification benchmark holds the full method and data. Bouncer was not one of the six.

Two limits travel with every number below. We mailed every address at least one tool approved, so the test counts how many addresses each tool rejected, not how many of those rejections were wrong. And at 1,000 addresses the five low-bounce tools are statistically indistinguishable: 4 bounces against 7 is noise. Only ZeroBounce's 33 stands apart.

The list is hard on verifiers. WizLeads' classifier read 212 of the 1,000 as catch-all (21.2%) and, as a separate count, 159 as sitting behind a Secure Email Gateway (15.9%).

We rank on one criterion, which we state here before the results table: the most addresses kept while bouncing under 1%. We chose it after the test, not before it, and ranking by lowest bounce rate would put Debounce first. Five of the six tools cleared the line.

Results: five alternatives and ZeroBounce on one list

n/aZeroBounce (over 1%)888333.72%112verdict returned

Source: our send test described above, figures as published on the benchmark page. Bounce rate is bounces divided by the addresses that tool kept. Kept plus rejected is 1,000 for every tool, and each flagged count sits inside that tool's rejected column. Debounce's paid catch-all check was not run, and MillionVerifier flags catch-alls without saying whether they are valid or invalid, so their flags stay unresolved.

Debounce (0.15%) and NeverBounce (0.56%) both bounced less than WizLeads (0.59%), and they rejected 330 and 289 addresses against WizLeads' 148. Three tools returned a verdict on catch-alls and three flagged them. Bouncer says it resolves catch-alls on Google and Microsoft hosts; if that holds on your list it belongs in the first group, and our run cannot tell you whether it does.

The five Bouncer alternatives, ranked

Each tool gets the same six slots in the same order: result, price at 10,000 and the bill, what it charges for unknowns and how it handled catch-alls, credit expiry, best for, and limitation.

1. WizLeads

WizLeads homepage: One Tool to Scrape, Enrich and Verify, with Get Started Free and See Pricing buttons

Result. 852 kept, 5 bounced (0.59%), 148 rejected. The most kept of the five tools under 1%, though Debounce and NeverBounce bounced less.

Price at 10,000 and the bill. Verification costs 0.5 credits per email. The Freelancer plan is $39 a month for 10,000 credits, which buys 20,000 verifications, so $19.50 per 10,000 as a pro-rata unit cost. The bill is $39 for the month, and it carries 20,000 verifications, against Bouncer's $60 for 10,000 pay as you go or $48 a month on subscription.

Unknowns and catch-alls. Credits are charged for every email processed, whatever the result, so unknowns cost you where Bouncer's are free. WizLeads classifies catch-all emails as valid or invalid, and in our run it returned a verdict on them.

Credit expiry. Unused credits roll over for one billing period. Bouncer's never expire.

Best for. Teams that also scrape Sales Navigator or find work emails, because one credit pool covers all three: finding costs 3 credits per email found, from a name and a company website. Bouncer's enrichment adds company fields to verified emails, and we found no Bouncer email finder on its pages. A new account gets 500 free credits once, enough for 1,000 verifications.

Limitation. Credits do not last as long as Bouncer's, unknowns are billed, and WizLeads' price at 10,000 is higher than Reoon's and Truelist's. If your bounce rate on addresses WizLeads marked valid exceeds 2%, it refunds 100% of your credits, subject to an email infrastructure diagnosis. It is a credit refund, not cash.

2. LeadMagic

LeadMagic homepage: Turn incomplete lead data into verified, usable records, with an API key button

Result. 822 kept, 7 bounced (0.85%), 178 rejected. It returned a verdict on catch-alls, as WizLeads did.

Price at 10,000 and the bill. Essential is $99 a month for 5,000 credits. Validation costs 0.25 credits, so that covers 20,000 validations: $49.50 per 10,000 pro-rata, billed as $99.

Unknowns and catch-alls. The pricing page says failed or empty lookups do not deduct credits.

Credit expiry. Monthly plans can bank up to twice the monthly allocation. Annual credits refresh yearly and do not roll over, per the pricing page on 8 October 2026.

Best for. Teams already spending LeadMagic credits on email finding or mobile numbers, where validation comes out of the same pool.

Limitation. The entry bill is $99, there are no free credits, its pricing FAQ says payments are non-refundable except where the law requires or a signed agreement says otherwise, its Refund Policy (last updated 30 September 2026) calls purchases final, and for verification alone $49.50 per 10,000 sits just above Bouncer's $48 subscription.

3. NeverBounce

NeverBounce homepage with the headline NeverBounce is a Real-Time Email Verifier, a G2 badge and a free verify box

Result. 711 kept, 4 bounced (0.56%), 289 rejected. Of those 289, 79 came back unknown.

Price at 10,000 and the bill. Pay as you go is $50 for 10,000, against Bouncer's $60. The monthly Growth plan is $49 for up to 10,000.

Unknowns and catch-alls. NeverBounce's billing help says one credit per verification and states no exception for unknown or accept-all results. It flagged 137 addresses as catch-all without a verdict.

Credit expiry. Pay-as-you-go credits expire 12 months after purchase. We did not verify what happens to unused Growth credits.

Best for. Senders who want a low bounce rate and can afford to lose addresses. Its 0.56% was second only to Debounce's, and new accounts get 10 free credits.

Limitation. It rejected 289 addresses, nearly twice WizLeads' 148, and it bills the unknown results that Bouncer gives away. At a million credits its pay-as-you-go pack is $2,500, above Bouncer's $2,000.

4. MillionVerifier

MillionVerifier homepage: Protect your email reputation, a free account form and a sample list report

Result. 709 kept, 7 bounced (0.99%), 291 rejected. The shape is close to NeverBounce's: two fewer kept, three more bounces.

Price at 10,000 and the bill. $39 for 10,000, $149 for 100,000 and $449 for a million, as one-off packs.

Unknowns and catch-alls. It flagged 170 addresses as catch_all without a verdict, inside its 291 rejections. It gives credits back for unknown and catch-all results, but the Terms call that "a discretionary promotional goodwill programme, not a permanent feature", and a help-centre article withdraws it from accounts whose results regularly hold an outstandingly large number of unknown or invalid addresses. The homepage calls it a "Full refund on any risky email".

Credit expiry. Never, and new accounts get 100 free credits.

Best for. Occasional cleaning of large lists, where a $449 million-credit pack beats Bouncer's $1,600 subscription and $2,000 pay-as-you-go.

Limitation. 291 rejections, 170 unresolved catch-alls, and a free-risky rule that is conditional on how your results look. If you verify scraped lists, read that help-centre article first.

5. Debounce

Debounce homepage: Email Validation Tool, with a Watch Demo button and a product dashboard

Result. 670 kept, 1 bounced (0.15%), 330 rejected. The lowest bounce rate in the test and the most rejections, a third of the list.

Price at 10,000 and the bill. $25 for 10,000 pay as you go, from a $15 minimum for 5,000. It runs $135 for 100,000 and $750 for a million.

Unknowns and catch-alls. Debounce's pages disagree on unknowns. Its pricing page prices a validation at 1 credit and its help centre lists unknown among the results of that 1-credit check, while its Mailchimp integration page says unknown results are not charged. We could not tell which governs, so ask support before you budget around it. Resolving a catch-all costs 10 additional credits per the help centre, 11 in total. We ran the standard check only, so its 201 Accept All flags, inside the 330 rejections, were never resolved.

Credit expiry. Never. New accounts get 100 free credits.

Best for. Bounce-first senders on a budget, where a lost address is cheap to replace.

Limitation. The standard check leaves catch-alls unresolved. On a list shaped like ours, where WizLeads' classifier read 21.2% as catch-all, resolving them adds 21,200 credits for every 10,000 addresses, 31,200 in all, over three times the credits of a standard check.

What about ZeroBounce?

ZeroBounce kept the most addresses in the test, 888, and 33 of them bounced (3.72%), so it fails the criterion and sits outside the five. It is $129 for 10,000 pay as you go with a $39 minimum for 2,000, and unknown results are free. Its pricing page says credits never expire in one place and ties that to an active ZeroBounce ONE subscription in another. We cover its full set of alternatives in ZeroBounce alternatives.

Other Bouncer competitors that cost less but are not send-tested: Reoon and Truelist

Two verifiers list below WizLeads and Bouncer at 10,000, and we have no send data on either. Reoon sells instant credits at $11.90 for 10,000, $116.40 for 100,000 and $972.00 for a million, and they never expire. It spends one credit on any successful verification, catch-all results included, and refunds unknowns, per its product page. The free tier gives 20 daily credits, up to 600 verifications a month, plus 100 instant credits at signup. Truelist lists $14 for 10,000, $90 for 100,000 and $700 for a million. Its page says credits never expire and that a standard validation costs one credit "with a definitive verdict"; resolving a catch-all costs 3 credits, applied only where the standard check returns unknown. We did not test any of that.

Against Bouncer's pay-as-you-go $60, Reoon is about 5.0 times cheaper at 10,000 and Truelist about 4.3 times. That gap is real and WizLeads' price does not close it: Reoon and Truelist both cost less than WizLeads at 10,000. A lower price is a fair reason to test them, and we have no send data on either.

Source: each vendor's pricing page, US prices. The two Bouncer rows are bold because they are the baseline. Subscriptions are monthly commitments and the other rows are one-off packs, so do not read the columns as like for like. "Pro-rata" is the price spread over the volume a plan carries, a unit cost and not a bill. LeadMagic sells monthly plans in credits, so we show its unit cost at 10,000 only. For WizLeads we show the smallest plan that carries the volume in one billing period, at 0.5 credits per verification: Cartel is 100,000 credits a month ($199), Kingpin quarterly is 1,000,000 credits ($1,199).

Of the tools priced here, five list below Bouncer's $48 subscription at 10,000: Reoon, Truelist, WizLeads, Debounce and MillionVerifier. Bouncer's pay-as-you-go pack costs more than NeverBounce's at 10,000 ($60 against $50), the same at 100,000 ($400) and less at a million ($2,000 against $2,500). At a million, MillionVerifier, Truelist, Debounce, Reoon and NeverBounce Growth all list below Bouncer's $1,600 subscription. Against WizLeads' pro-rata figures, only Truelist ($90) lists lower at 100,000 and only MillionVerifier ($449) lists lower at a million.

When to stay on Bouncer

Stay if your volume is lumpy and your credits sit unused. Credits that never expire with unknown results free or refunded is a pairing that Bouncer, Reoon and, conditionally, MillionVerifier offer among the tools priced here. Truelist's page says credits never expire and bills standard checks per definitive verdict, and ZeroBounce makes unknowns free but ties no-expiry to an active ONE subscription in its FAQ. WizLeads offers neither half, and Debounce's pages disagree on unknowns. Bouncer's $48 subscription for 10,000 also sits below NeverBounce Growth at $49 and LeadMagic's $49.50 pro-rata.

Stay if you use what is sold around verification. Bouncer says its Toxicity Check scores addresses from 1 to 5 for being breached, widely circulated, tied to complainers or litigators, or potential spam traps. AutoClean re-verifies contacts on a schedule and checks new ones hourly; its banner lists HubSpot, User.com, Klaviyo, Brevo, Mailchimp and inboxroad, while its setup steps name HubSpot and Klaviyo. Company enrichment is free on verified B2B emails, and Bouncer says it is hosted in the EU. We did not price a replacement for any of these in this post, so confirm your next tool has the one you rely on.

Stay, finally, if Bouncer's Google and Microsoft catch-all claim holds on your list. We cannot say whether it does, which is why the test below matters.

How to test Bouncer against a shortlist on your own list

  1. Take a list you already plan to mail and run the identical CSV through Bouncer and two or three alternatives on the same day. Pull a longer shortlist from best email verification tools; if you verify by API, best email verification APIs adds billing and integration detail.
  2. Record each tool's kept count, how it labelled catch-all and risky addresses, and what it charged for them.
  3. Send only to each tool's approved addresses from a clean sender, and count hard bounces and mailbox-does-not-exist replies over 72 hours.
  4. Compare kept counts at similar bounce rates. On 1,000 addresses, a gap of a few bounces is noise.
  5. To learn how many rejections would have delivered, you have to mail some of them from a sender you can afford to risk. Ours did not.

The free allowances cover step one: Bouncer gives 100 credits and free list sampling, Debounce and MillionVerifier 100 each, and Reoon 100 instant credits. WizLeads gives 500 free credits on a free account, which cover 1,000 verifications.
